Scott Barry

Scott Barry

ASSOCIATE MFT

Scott Barry is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist at Revive Wellness and Counseling Center. He works with individuals, couples, and families to help them navigate the challenges of modern life. Scott completed his master’s degree program at Pepperdine University in Malibu, California, where he gained a solid foundation in therapeutic practices and interventions. Scott identifies with the philosophy of noted post-modern psychologist Dr. Carl Rogers, who conceived the humanistic “Person-Centered Therapy” approach that emphasizes the client’s perspective. Dr. Rogers famously said, “We cannot change, we cannot move away from what we are, until we thoroughly accept what we are. Then, change seems to come about almost unnoticed.”

Scott focuses his therapeutic approach along Rogers’s beliefs that all people have an innate drive towards “self-actualization”, where each person strives to realize their full potential. Scott works to create a safe and supportive environment where the client can explore their feelings and experiences while fostering self-discovery and personal growth.

Scott’s career experience as a reporter and public affairs representative helped him develop empathy for the human condition. This, along with his work with memory-care patients, has helped Scott build a strong foundation working with clients, families, and caregivers, helping them to recognize and heal from trauma, and to build resilience as they move forward. Scott’s strong educational background, along with his extensive and varied life experiences, helps him to empathize and guide individuals and families as they navigate the pain of trauma, relationship issues, life passages, and emotional distress. Scott believes that change and healing are indeed possible and advocates for his clients as he assists them on their journey toward wellness.

Victoria Garcia

ASSOCIATE MFT

Victoria Garcia is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist at Revive Wellness Counseling Center. She earned her master’s degree from Pepperdine University and originally hails from Maryland, just outside of Washington, D.C. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, where she received a BA in Psychology and a minor in Philosophy.

Victoria views the therapy room as a powerful and sacred space—one for self-discovery, growth, and healing. Her approach is eclectic, drawing from a range of therapeutic modalities tailored to meet each client’s individual needs. Her primary frameworks include:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to examine and reshape patterns of thought and behavior
  • Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT) to enhance emotional attunement and understanding
  • Existential Therapy to explore meaning-making in life and experiences
  • Narrative Therapy to explore the internal stories clients carry and help reshape them

All of Victoria’s work is rooted in a humanistic perspective that honors and respects each client’s unique journey and experience.

She is currently pursuing additional training in the Gottman Method, EMDR, Esther Perel’s approach to couples counseling, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and LGBTQ+ affirmative care. Victoria is also expanding her clinical scope to include work with polyamory, BDSM/kink, and neurodivergence. She believes that effective therapy must consider and challenge the societal structures that influence identity, relationships, and mental well-being. Her approach is intentional about decolonizing and destigmatizing the therapeutic space.

Outside of therapy, Victoria enjoys video games, painting, hiking, anime, the gym, and various movies and television shows. She is also well-versed in pet care.

Elizabeth Tang

Elizabeth Tang

ASSOCIATE MFT# 147262

Hello, I’m Elizabeth Tang, your fellow traveler on the path to healing! As an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, I’m thrilled to be by your side as we uncover the layers of your story together. I earned my bachelor’s degree in psychology at California State University, Northridge and my master’s degree at Pacifica Graduate Institute in Counseling Psychology, with emphasis in Depth Psychology.

My journey as a therapist has taken me through a variety of settings, from working with children, teens, and adults in schools and Telehealth, to helping those in crisis at a psychiatric hospital. I started at an all-male high school, then moved to community mental health, where I served at-risk youth and underserved communities. Along the way, I’ve had the privilege of watching how the power of empathy and a safe space can spark transformation in people’s lives.

As a second-generation Asian American, I’m especially passionate about how culture shapes mental health. I know firsthand the weight of feeling “different” and how shame can push people toward unhealthy coping strategies. That’s why I take a collaborative approach, meeting my clients exactly where they are emotionally—no judgment, just a lot of compassion.

My therapeutic style pulls from Psychodynamic Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Depth Psychology, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), with a growing interest in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). Together, we’ll process your pain, unravel past traumas, and pave the way for a happier, healthier life.

In my spare time, you can find me reconnecting with nature on a hike, nurturing my houseplants, or spending time with my family, friends, and my mischievous cat, Ziggy.

This approach is informed by Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Existential Therapy, and Expressive Arts Therapy from a Person Centered Perspective. Building on strengths as pillars of the therapeutic process, the goal is to guide individuals beyond hidden beliefs which interrupt daily living, towards a greater awareness of the “Self” as the ultimate source of transformation and well being.

Quonta has a history of working with various populations, such as those in California Correctional Facilities, Re-Entry and Juvenile Detention Centers, Crisis Support Centers, Community Therapy, and an Adult Day Center for individuals with dementia.
